I love the new Stella paper from Close To My Heart. It is vibrant and fun, and can be used for so many different projects.
These are the cards my workshop group made last week. The first project was a Valentine's Day card. I love the Lagoon and Tulip colours together, and I think this card could definitely be given to anyone, regardless of age or gender. The baker's twine is a new product from CTMH - comes in a package of 4 tropical colours, as well as a package of 4 neutral colours. The heart is from the Hearts Dimensionals chipboard accents, and I used a foam-sticker on the back to raise it up. I covered the heart with the tulip Stella patterned paper, then cut around and sanded the edges. I used the Token Alphabet for the letters in L-O-V-E. As usual, I added a ton of bitty sparkles too!
The other card we made was also using the Stella paper pack, but used only the neutral patterned paper, along with Sunset, Chocolate and Lagoon cardstock. The striped chocolate and colonial white ribbon is fantastic, and adds tons of dimensional to your project, whether you're laying it flat (as shown), or tying it in a bow. The flower stamp and 'Congratulations' are from the new stamp set Card Word Puzzle. It is extremely versatile, and it comes with many phrases you can tailor to your needs. I used a water pen on the flower to blend Bamboo and Sunsets inks, and I also sponged Sunset ink around the edge of the flower. Thanks for looking! I'll be posting Easter cards using the Lucy paper pack soon!
